Back in February, i convinced my family that the mountain bike ( I rarely used), was too heavy, the hybrid was too suspensiony (I rarely used this either) and i had to get me a gravel bike. I was also fat and lycra didn't quite hide the whale look so I they agreed to it........5 stone lighter I am living the 52yr old dream to the point i could fit back in to a Z Once (retro is hip) team top i owned in the 90s, broke my 100km in one run cycle challenge in July and now need little excuse to get out for a run.....other than rain......I'm still trying to overcome that.......living in Scotland you have little choice some times.
