When launching m2M Cycling in August 2021 I had one main goal in mind.
As described on the 'About' page of our website:
m2M Cycling is here to support guys at the early stages of their road cycling adventure. Where you can come together for things such as sharing cycling hints and tips, arranging group rides and chatting about road bikes (other forms of bicycles and cycling are allowed). It’s intended to be this and so much more. As someone who’s been on medication for mild anxiety for a few years, cycling has been a massive benefit to helping me get my head right whenever needed. It’s helped me connect with guys going through similar things (I’ve been surprised at how many there are). With these connections has come camaraderie and conversation – all so vitally important when needing to just talk to someone about ‘stuff’ – the great, the good, the bad and the ugly. This is what I would love m2M Cycling to become. If it can be a road cycling-based haven that helps another person, on any level, then I will have achieved my goal!
Literally a few minutes ago I received this amazing message from one of our community members:
To say I am beyond proud of receiving this message would be an understatement. It's exactly what m2M is here to do and to know it's making a difference makes me feel incredibly warm and fuzzy inside 🤗 🙌
As we see out 2021 I'd like to say a massive "thank you" to everyone involved in m2M Cycling. Whether an active community member, or someone who's helping out in the background, thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
